Garmin’s first 15-inch touchscreen ultrawide chartplotter: introducing Garmin’s GPSMAP 1523xsv: a new chartplotter that allows users to manage their vessel from a single screen, without sacrificing data clarity and optimised visibility.
The new 15-inch ultra-wide display offers a 74% larger screen than a 9-inch chartplotter, and the split-screen function allows you to configure and customise the screen to suit your needs.
Added to this is the SmartMode function which, by selecting a mode (e.g. docking, fishing, night cruising) allows all connected monitors to automatically switch to the configuration for that specific activity.
In addition to full boat control and integrated sounder, the new GPSMAP 1523xsv supports connection to radar, autopilot, stereo, instruments, cameras and more.
Finally, via NMEA or Garmin Marine Networks the GPSMAP 1523xsv can be connected to a Garmin Force electric motor, allowing fishing enthusiasts to create custom routes by controlling speed and power.
