Itama has set itself a key objective: to expand the company’s range by delving back into the open cruiser runabout segment from 50 to 59 feet. Thus, the new Itama 54 was born, upholding the brand’s Made in Italy style and elegance.
16.44 metres long and with a beam of 4.73 metres, the new Itama 54 is the brainchild of the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee, chaired by engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s Engineering Department.
Both the Itama 54’s exterior and interior design were penned by Tommaso De Luca and among the innovative elements, this model offers the large bow sundeck recessed in the deck, access to the bow area starboard of the windscreen, and a double cockpit set-up characterising the outdoor living area.
The interior layout, which includes the master cabin, a guest cabin, a galley and a dinette, is bathed in natural light thanks to side windows that, as a first, run along the hull. Powered by two MAN i6-730hp engines the Itama 54 reaches a top speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots. Alternatively, equipped with two MAN i6-850hp engines these speeds reach 37 and 33 knots respectively.
