Zuccon International Project joins Cadorin at the Milan Design Week

9 May 2025

Studio Zuccon International Project and Cadorin are taking part in the 2025 Milan Design Week, the Salone del Mobile, where they are presenting Azteca, a refined wooden cladding that expresses a new way of interpreting the dialogue between art and design.

The result of the synergy between Studio Zuccon International Project’s design vision and Cadorin’s craftsmanship, Azteca stands out for its modular design based on the triangle, a symbolic element that represents balance, cyclicity and harmony between opposing but complementary forces.

“Azteca is more than just a simple wall cover, it is a dynamic work that reveals itself to those who know how to ‘read between the lines’,” explained Bernardo Zuccon. “Each individual piece intertwines with the others, giving rise to different geometric compositions capable of guiding the eye on a journey, creating a weave that evolves continuously depending on the laying used, drawing angles and perspectives capable of challenging perception”.

Made of precious woods such as oak, walnut and elm, Azteca is the result of careful processing that enhances its material qualities and visual depth. The finishes, available in tones ranging from neutral and natural colours to stronger shades such as carbon, rust and aqua marina, amplify the aesthetic effect and allow for a complete customisation of the rooms.
