The wallytender48X is soon to make its debut in the Middle East. Wally’s versatile day cruiser will make her debut at the Dubai International Boat Show, which opens on Wednesday 19th February and closes on Sunday 23rd February.
At DIBS, the wallytender48X, the only boat in its segment to offer folding bulwarks that expand the bathing platform and, also as standard, a retractable gangway, will be powered by four 450 hp Mercury Verado outboards.
This engine set-up, combined with the lightness and stability of the composite and carbon fibre hull developed by Wally and Ferretti Group designers, allows the boat to reach top speeds of over 54 knots and a cruising speed of 36 knots with a range of 340 miles.
While the choice of coupling two engines on each side has made it possible to keep the gangway/hydraulic ladder at the centre of the stern to ensure easy access to the yacht, both from the water and from the dock.
