Her name is Big Naan and she is a Crossover 42 from Columbus Yachts, which just celebrated her launch from the Savona docks under the Palumbo Group’s brand. The Columbus Crossover 42 features exterior lines designed by Hydro Tec studio, while the interiors are by Hot Lab.
Among the key features of the Columbus Crossover 42, which can accommodate up to 11 people in four cabins (three VIP and one double that can be converted into a triple) on the lower deck and the full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck, is the cockpit that accommodates a large tender, served by a crane, and a 17-square-metre swimming pool surrounded by social areas and spaces dedicated to relaxation.
Big Naan is powered by two 742 kW Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines. Top speeds exceed 14 knots while the cruising speed is 12 knots. At 10 knots her range exceeds 5,500 miles.
The US owner of Big Naan (represented by Trevor van Wyk) was introduced by Zarpo Yachts.
Columbus Yachts’ production line currently includes a Columbus Atlantique 37, a Columbus Crossover 47 with delivery set for 2027 and two ISA Gran Turismo 45 Alloy hulls and superstructures that will be completed at the Ancona production site.
