The fifth Mangusta Oceano 50 was launched on 10th June. The result of a close collaboration between designer Alberto Mancini and the Overmarine Group’s technical department, this 50-metre yacht weighing in under 500 GT is all about natural light, large spaces and volumes.
Floor-to-ceiling windows and large glazed surfaces ensure fluid communication between interiors and exteriors, while the outdoor areas are plentiful, including the beach area that extends over three terraces and includes a covered area furnished with sofas.
The upper and sun decks offer dining and sunbathing areas, with two panoramic swimming pools. The one on the upper deck measures 6.50 x 2.60 metres and is equipped with a counter-current swimming system.
The interiors, the outcome of the owner’s close involvement with the yard’s design team, include a master suite on the main deck with a balcony overlooking the sea and four guest cabins on the lower deck.
The new Mangusta Oceano 50 is powered by two 1700 hp MTUs and reaches a top speed of 16 knots. The cruising speed is 11 knots and her range is 4,500 miles.
