New for 2025: Under 25 tickets and initiatives tailored to industry professionals
Starting today, tickets for the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, scheduled to take place from 18th to 23rd September, are officially available for online purchase. The event, organised by the Italian Marine Industry Association, is the global reference point for the Italian boating sector, consolidating its role each and every year as a world-class showcase of industry excellence, innovation, and policy debate.
Ticketing: brand new features for young visitors and industry professionals
One of the main benefits to be added as of the 2025 edition is the introduction of a discounted ticket for under-25-year-olds, available at the special reduced price of €13 (these tickets may only be purchased on site by presenting a valid ID). This measure is part of a broader campaign of initiatives kicked off by the Italian Marine Industry Association to support the guidance and training of students within the boating career market and inspire the awareness and involvement of younger generations throughout the world of boating, which also includes the introduction of the new D1 licence promoted by the Association, which can be obtained from the age of 16, and the two events reserved for high schools: “Nautica: orientarsi in un mare di opportunità” (“Boating: Charting a course through a sea of opportunities”) and ” Nautica da diporto: le Istituzioni in sinergia con le imprese. Lavoro, formazione, apprendistato, orientamento scolastico” (“Boating industry: Synergies between institutions and businesses. Employment, training, apprenticeships, guidance”), both scheduled for Monday 22nd September.
Another new addition to the upcoming edition is the TechTrade Days 2025 initiative, on 18th and 19th September, featuring a B2B format devoted to the latest innovations in the boating sector with 300 brands of boating equipment and components, with solutions for both OEM integration and deck outfitting, organised in the Show’s TechTrade area and devoted to business, technology, and professional networking.
Two days designed for companies and professionals operating across the boating industry, with the aim of fostering discussion, information exchange and networking opportunities among manufacturers, suppliers, designers, and shipyards, to discover the most innovative solutions for professional and recreational boating.
