What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
A.C.M. (Aprilia Carpenteria Meccanica) has been operating in the medium and heavy mechanical carpentry sector for over 40 years and has chosen to showcase the pride of its welding department at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, exhibiting examples of its work.
Welding is a department in which ACM, thanks to its welders (qualified according to both UNI EN ISO 9606-1 and ASME section IX), can boast considerable experience in working on carbon and stainless steel as well as other materials such as nickel, copper and titanium.
The Welding Department is one of five departments, the others being the Mechanical Machining Department, the Titanium Department, the Heat Treatment Department and the Painting and Blasting Department, with the Production Department acting as the fulcrum of construction/manufacturing and assembly.
The Production Department, in particular, is equipped with state-of-the-art Fanuc/Heidenhain numerical control machines, starting with CNC milling machines and machining centres with 4 or 5 axes, CNC flame cutting/plasma cutting and CN calender, GMAW /TIG CNC welding robots.
