What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
Guidi, a company that seven years ago celebrated its 50th anniversary, in 2018, and specialises in hydraulic components and accessories for the marine sector, is presenting two brand-new products this year at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show.
These two exciting new concepts from Guidi, which can boast the title of European pioneer for introducing the use of bronze across the nautical sector, are the Guidi System C- Pin and the Ball Valve 2300 now available in flanged and motorised versions.
Worthy of particular note, the Guidi System is a product system that increases the performance of water passage in a boat’s hydraulic systems. The system itself is a kit of items specially designed, developed and produced in-house by the company, and these include items such as a sea inlet, an anti-block valve, a filter, fittings.
But perhaps most importantly, the Guidi System is equipped, in its current C-PIN version, with sensors for diagnostics and it can be operated from the bridge.
The 2300 ball valve made with a bronze body and sleeve, brass ball with anti-fouling treatment, 304 stainless steel lever and anti-explosion stem is joined by the 2350 version, equipped, among other things, with its own drain/inspection plug, grease nipple and earth connection.
Another version is now also available: the 2300AE, a plug-and-play motorised ball valve that is easy to install, even on an already mounted valve body, is equipped with open/close sensors, and can be integrated with control systems via 5-20 ma signals.
