What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
Agile, elegant and complete, the MV 23 GT, which enriches MV Marine’s GT range and which the shipyard, first founded in 1994 as Motonautica Vesuviana (now MV Marine) thanks to the passion and ingenuity of engineer Vincenzo Nappo, is presenting as a world premiere at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show.
Entirely designed in-house, the new MV 23 GT (6.99 metres long by 2.68 metres wide) embodies the yard’s core philosophy: high construction quality, smart design and excellent performance, all focused on the entry-level range.
Furthermore, despite the model’s small size, the MV 23 GT boasts superior category solutions: from the large bow sundeck, to the transformable aft dinette, to the central wheelhouse that accommodates a sink and refrigerator.
The MV 23 GT, which can take up to 16 people on board, is designed for an engine that complies with the new D1 licence, Italy’s so-called “Boating License”, which allows over-16-year-olds to operate this model within 6 miles of the coast, albeit only during daytime hours, and with engines of no more than 115 hp.
The maximum power that can be installed on MV Marine’s new MV 23 GT is 200 hp.
