What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
FPT Industrial, an Iveco Group brand dedicated to the design, production and sale of propulsion systems and solutions for on-road and off-road, marine and power generation applications, through its official distributor Naval Motor Botti is taking part in this year’s 65th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show to present a selection of its marine catalogue.
The products that will be displayed during the Genoa Boat Show are the result of more than 60 years of FPT history, which has its manufacturing heart in their Marine plant in Turin, six decades in which the brand has consolidated an internationally recognised know-how when it comes to the production of marine engines.
Introduced in 2018, just after winning the speed on water record for diesel engines, the CURSOR 16 (power ratings range from 815 to 1000 hp) is a sure partner for marine professionals with its simplified maintenance requirements and extreme efficiency, which translate into reduced operating costs, the ideal choice for yachts and sport fishing boats up to 24 metres.
The N67 550 engine, for its part, is the flagship of FPT Industrial’s marine range and the most powerful engine in the NEF family for marine applications. It combines high performance with lightness and low noise, characteristics that make it the ideal solution for boats up to 18 metres. Exceptional reliability and full compliance with international emissions regulations make it a safe choice even for frequent and demanding use, such as in charter operations.
The latest novelty at FPT’s Genoa show is dedicated to zero-emission boating. It is the eBS 37 EVO, which marked the debut of FPT Industrial’s ePowertrain line in the marine sector. The eBS 37 EVO is a modular battery pack that integrates high energy density cells and modules and can be installed to power both full-electric and hybrid applications, ideal, for example, for navigation in protected marine areas.
