What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
GPY, the exclusive importer for Italy of Sirena Yachts, is presenting the world premiere of the new Sirena 60, which replaces the Sirena 58 and features entirely renewed exterior spaces fore and aft, an updated flybridge design, larger interiors and a contemporary décor.
The external lines of the Sirena 60 (19.45 metres long by 5.36 metres wide), designed by Frers Naval Architecture and further developed by the yard itself, are characterised by a vertical bow, a wide transom platform, and large rectangular dark glass surfaces contrasting with the white hull and superstructure.
The interior layout is entirely new with the dinette on the starboard side, the internal wheelhouse with two seats side by side and the galley close to the cockpit exit but enlarged by an impressive 20% compared to the 58.
As for the sleeping area, the basic configuration includes three cabins with the full-beam owner’s cabin in the centre, the VIP in the bow, and the third cabin with a bed that can be converted from a single to a double.
There are two possible engine set-ups: a pair of Volvo D11s with 670 hp or Volvo D13s with 900 hp. Maximum speed 23.5 knots, or with the two 900 hp option 25.8 knots.
