What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
Enhancing mobility and making sustainable nautical mobility more efficient are the core goals of Nautilus srl, which at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show is presenting its kit for electric mobility on new or refurbished boats through a reproduction made with a 3D printer.
Nautilus proposes an innovative electric propulsion system for recreational boating units. In Nautilus’ pilot project, the diesel engine and its tanks have been replaced with a highly efficient, compact and lightweight electric motor, cooled directly with seawater.
The motor is constructed using high quality materials: copper for the windings, magnets for the rotor, aluminium and titanium for lightness and strength.
The motors, developed by Nautilus and manufactured under licence, are available in a power range from 20 to 90 kW.
