What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
Pantecnica, a company engaged since 1981 in the development of sealing systems for fluids and anti-vibration systems, is presenting its MTL damping kit at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show. This kit is the successful result of in-depth research into oscillations with characteristic frequencies generated by the operation of motors, pumps or air treatment systems that affect structures and propagate into the environment through the air or hull.
The MTL damping kit, developed in collaboration with Phononic Vibes, is obtained by interposing a viscoelastic plastic layer with a high degree of damping that transforms the kinetic energy caused by vibrations into thermal energy.
The complete absence of resonance phenomena makes MTL irreplaceable in the construction of components whose objective is the reduction of structure-borne noise and is therefore an extremely suitable solution for increasing on-board comfort.
Pantecnica’s wide range of certified anti-vibration systems, also in the tear-proof version, can meet every application requirement to improve on-board comfort. Furthermore, attention to the protection of the marine environment has always been a priority for Pantecnica, in compliance with Sustainable Development Goal 14 of the UN 2030 Agenda.
