What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show

The first model of a new family of sport open yachts by Riva, the Riva 58′ Capri is scheduled to make its very first appearance at this year’s 65th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show.

The Riva 58′ Capri (17.27 meters long by 4.74 metres wide) was born as an evolution of the 56′ Rivale, inspired by the stylistic and design success of the 68′ Diable and inaugurates a new family of sport open yachts, conceived to interpret in a contemporary key the unmistakable sporty and elegant DNA of Riva’s open range.

The streamlined but much more sculpted external lines have been reworked with a contemporary design that expresses modernity without sacrificing the brand’s distinctive formal, clean concept and functionality.

The interiors are conceived to guarantee the highest standards of comfort and practicality even while cruising, while maintaining the model’s sporty and dynamic soul. Distinctive elements of the 58′ Capri are the new fixed hard top that covers the entire main deck and, integrated into the structure, a retractable electric bimini that allows easy management for shading. An air intake at the front of the hard top can be opened electrically.

The Riva 58′ Capri features three cabins, two doubles for guests and one for the crew. The aft garage can be custom-designed: it can accommodate a Williams 325 tender or, alternatively, a Williams 285 TurboJet alongside a Seabob.

The standard engine set-up for the Riva 58′ Capri is two Man V8 1000 hp for a maximum speed of 33 knots and 27 knots cruising. Optional set-up sees two Man V8 1200 hp engines for a maximum speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 31 knots.
