What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show

Ingemar, the leading company in mooring systems, is once again the technical partner of the 65th Genoa International Boat Show this year, where it is presenting its latest achievements in Italy and abroad, along with new collaborations and emerging trends for the future.

Over the last few decades, the development of marinas has shifted from fixed mooring structures to floating ones, and more recently to the use of new materials that have enabled solutions capable of counteracting increasingly insidious wave movements and accommodating modern larger boats.

Through continuous research, Ingemar — which has developed modules 20 metres long, 10 metres wide, and weighing 220 tonnes, described as the state of the art in floating structures — has recently signed a series of important partnership agreements.

These include the collaboration with Madeit4a, a company from Viareggio, to launch the Marina4all accessibility project, aimed at ensuring easy access for users with reduced mobility; and with Bettersea, a Roman start-up whose BetterSea Power line offers a modular and universal solution for pontoons.

Other companies partnering with Ingemar include Moorsimply, with its system that facilitates mooring, and Seares, with its Seadamp technology that reduces the load on mooring lines by up to 90% and dock accelerations by 50%, significantly improving port and boat safety.
