What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
F.lli Razeto & Casareto, a company that for over half a century has been synonymous with innovation and quality in the production of technical hardware and onboard handles, is presenting the EUREK-ART collection at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, a series of artistic handles handcrafted by Giangi Razeto, the company’s Head of Innovation and Design and a highly regarded artist.
After years dedicated to researching solutions that combine technology, safety, and precious materials, Giangi Razeto decided to return to his studio. Thus, EUREK-ART was born, a collection that interprets the essence of luxury as that which boasts a unique style and unrepeatable qualities. Each handle becomes a bespoke work of art, capable of telling a story and transforming itself from a functional object into a work of art.
Each EUREK-ART handle takes shape from a classic handle model, treated as if it were a blank canvas or a block of marble to be sculpted. Through the use of grindstone, flame, hammer, and oxidation, the surface is worked into an artistic medium that carries the same energy as Giangi Razeto’s sculptural experiments.
EUREK-ART is presented through a unique installation: eight photographs by Claudio Colombo juxtaposed with eight EUREK-ART handles, creating a tale of suggestion, atmosphere, and memory. An installation that restores the most intimate and artistic dimension of boating, interweaving art and functionality, technique and poetry.
