Companies Cantieri di Pisa and T. Mariotti have just signed a strategic agreement aimed at creating a brand new generation of top-tier yachts, which will be entirely designed and built in Italy. The yachts born from this partnership, which will measure over 50 metres in length, will also bear the signature “Cantieri di Pisa powered by T. Mariotti” and will be constructed within the Group’s own facilities.
The first outcome of this collaboration will be the Super Polaris 70 powered by T. Mariotti, a 70-metre long superyacht that combines cutting-edge technology and a focus on sustainability with the distinctive style of a historic line. The interiors will be designed by Pulina Exclusive Interiors.
“In signing this agreement, our aim is to provide a new driving impetus for an iconic brand like Cantieri di Pisa,” commented Marco Massabò, CEO of Cantieri di Pisa (pictured left, with Marco Ghiglione). “The Super Polaris 70 is the first step in a journey that looks to the future with enthusiasm, inspired by the highest standards of quality and Made in Italy excellence. This partnership, founded on shared industrial core values, true friendship, and mutual esteem, unites tradition and design with construction and engineering expertise to face the challenges that the future holds, together.”
“This partnership stipulated with Cantieri di Pisa represents a natural step for our brand,” emphasised Marco Ghiglione, CEO of T. Mariotti. “We are bringing together the best of two worlds: Pisa provides the style, the tradition, and the strength of Italian design, while T. Mariotti contributes its large-scale industrial and engineering capabilities. Together, we are creating a new opportunity for the market: Italian yachts measuring over 50 metres that combine beauty, elegance, technology, and structural reliability.”
