HP Watermakers onboard Beneteau’s Prestige M7 maxi-cat

comunicato stampa

Ideal for long-range navigation and capable of producing 260 litres per hour of fresh water, or 6,000 litres over 24 hours, the HP SCA 260-2 from HP Watermakers was chosen as the onboard watermaker installed on the new Beneteau maxi-cat, the Prestige M7. This model is equipped, among other features, with the RP TRONIC system, the only truly automatic pressure management system that requires no manual intervention.

It is a great honour for us to have collaborated with such a major industrial group, and in particular with the Monfalcone facility, which represents one of the most advanced production sites in the nautical sector, both for the expertise of its workforce and the sophistication of its processing methods,” commented Gianni Zucco, co-founder of HP Watermakers.

RP TRONIC is the only desalination automation system that eliminates the need to access the engine room for adjustments, which are instead performed automatically via a motorised, precision micrometric valve. This ensures constant pressure even when the salinity, temperature, and therefore the density of the seawater, change.

The HP SCA 260-2 is one of eight models in the series, offering hourly outputs ranging from 100 to 500 litres per hour — from the compact and lightweight HP SCA-Kilo, ideal for small and medium-sized boats, to the four-membrane HP SCA 440-4.
