New displays, new chartplotters, and a new sonar module headline the upgrades to the GPSMAP 9000xsv series by Garmin, the world’s most innovative and recognised marine electronics manufacturer.
Specifically, the new 13-inch and 17-inch displays, featuring Mini LED backlighting, bring 4K resolution to mid-sized chartplotters. The addition of dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), together with the ActiveCaptain app, enables even faster chart and software updates.
For fishing enthusiasts, the combination of an integrated UHD sonar with xCHIRP technology and the new RapidReturn function delivers exceptionally detailed target marking and a refresh rate twice as fast as previous models.
Alongside compatibility with Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts, the new GPSMAP 9000xsv series also includes SailAssist, a feature designed specifically for sailors, while OneHelm allows all onboard systems to be managed from a single display.
