Introducing the Riva Cento

news

Only twelve units of this collector’s yacht will be produced: the limited edition Riva Cento celebrates and renews the legend that is the Sarnico boatyard with a contemporary twist. Measuring 11.88 metres in length and with a maximum beam of 3.50 metres, the Riva Cento is designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, in collaboration with the Product Strategy Committee chaired by engineer Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

A sporty open boat, the Riva Cento stands out not only for her design but also for the colour palette chosen for the twelve hulls: from the delicate, metallic fireworks black, to an elegant light grey aluminium tone, combined with leather cushions and a ribbed finish inspired by the cars of the 1950s and 1960s.

One of the most stand-out features of the Riva Cento is the electro-hydraulic system that allows the trunk to be opened, revealing two compartments for storing fenders and a Seabob. The cockpit is furnished with a C-shaped sofa and a stainless steel table with a glossy lacquered mahogany top which, when folded down, becomes flush with the cushions, transforming the environment into a second sunbathing area.

The Riva Cento is equipped with two Volvo Penta D6 440 Aquamatic Duoprop DPI engines (maximum speed 40 knots, cruising speed 31 knots) and a standard Seakeeper NG6 gyroscopic stabiliser, which ensures stability at anchor and also contributes to stability while sailing.
