THE GENOA INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW LAUNCHES ITS NEW OFFICIAL WEBSITE WITH PIONEERING TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN. BROWSING BECOMES MORE ACCESSIBLE AND INCLUSIVE THAN EVER BEFORE

The Genoa International Boat Show, currently getting ready to celebrate its 65th edition from 18th to 23rd September 2025, has taken steps to further strengthen its digital identity, having presented its new official website salonenautico.com/en, which has been completely renewed in terms of tech, design, functionalities and contents in order to offer an immersive digital experience, in compliance with international guidelines on digital accessibility, with the simple and immediate, barrier-free use of contents by all users.

A new digital experience

The brand new website has been designed to improve user experience: the browsing menu has been completely reimagined, making access to the main sections more immediate and intuitive. Interacting with the site’s content has also been improved, ensuring users’ experience is much more impactful and immersive.

In terms of the graphic interface, the website now adopts a markedly more essential design, consistent with the recent restyling of the Genoa International Boat Show’s brand identity. The visual contents now take centre stage as the site’s protagonists, and the numbers, history, news, events and industry-leading products that define the Genoa Boat Show have been further enhanced, allowing the user to fully immerse themselves in the event from their very first access.

Navigation from smartphones and tablets has been further optimised, making sure that the fluidity, simplicity and fast loading are maintained for visitors accessing the website during the event.

A website designed for all, in a concrete commitment to digital inclusiveness

The Genoa International Boat Show’s latest website redesign complies fully with the requirements set out in the European Accessibility Act (EAA) – EU Directive 2019/882, as implemented into Italian legislation via Legislative Decree n. 82/2022.

The site has, in fact, been equipped with all the necessary technology to ensure an inclusive experience that can be enjoyed by all users, particularly people with disabilities, according to the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) international standards. The Genoa Boat Show has anticipated this important change, demonstrating its core commitment to social responsibility.

This recent revamp is the best expression of the Genoa International Boat Show’s concrete determination to ensure its physical and digital ecosystem are always innovative, accessible, and inclusive,” states Marina Stella, General Manager of Confindustria Nautica. “Our event already achieved the ISO20121 certification last year, and as of today we are proud to announce this further step on the journey towards a better relationship with our exhibitors and the public. Accessibility represents an essential value of our vision of the Genoa Boat Show as an open and accessible experience for everyone, whether online or in person“.

Among upcoming scheduled activities, as of 8th July, it will be possible to purchase tickets online on the Genoa International Boat Show’s official website. Journalists and media operators will be able to apply for press accreditation from 15th July, also through the dedicated platform on the renovated website.
