What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
With the new Ferretti Yachts 800 launched on 24th July, scheduled to make its worldwide debut at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, the Ferretti Group brand brings the number of models in the Flybridge line into the double digits, reaching a total of 10, completing the renewal phase concerning the range that began back in 2018.
The new Ferretti Yachts 800 is designed by architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior design and by the Ideaeitalia team for the interior design and is the result of the close collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
Among the most innovative features that make up the Ferretti Yachts 800, with a length of 24.47 metres and a beam of 5.91 metres, are the large windows and the possibility of inserting a sliding door in the starboard wall of the saloon.
In addition, a clear separation of the spaces ensures total privacy despite truly ample external surfaces, with the flybridge measuring an impressive 40 square metres, the cockpit measuring 15 square metres and the 14 square metres of the outdoor living area in the bow.
The interior layout that defines the inside of the main deck, with its large saloon, dining area, galley and bridge, is available in two possible solutions: the Classic version, which recalls the warm elements of the earth, and the Contemporary version, inspired by the colours of the sea
The lower deck interiors include a master suite (18 square metres), a VIP cabin in the bow and two guest cabins, reaching a total of eight berths.
The Ferretti Yachts 800 offers two options also in terms of power set-up: the standard option, with two 1550 hp MAN V12s for a maximum speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots, or a more powerful set-up featuring two 1800 hp MAN V12s, for a maximum speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27.
