What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show

Amer Yachts, chooses the superyacht 120.16 Polar Fox for its catwalk at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show. Freshly launched and 35.50 metres long with a maximum beam of 7.40 metres, Polar Fox offers the lines that have made the success of this line from the shipyard led by Barbara Amerio.

Polar Fox differs, however, from the previous Amer 120s for an element requested by its owner: a third terrace that completes the direct views of the sea and the visual openings towards the outside, along the windows that run practically along the entire side of the yacht: an element that distinguishes the Amer 120s.

On Polar Fox, the colour palette of the interiors designed by Stefano Tini is dominated by shades of white, interrupted with the warmth of brass and bronze, tone-on-tone lacquering, reflective surfaces and with colour breaks ranging from chocolate to burgundy, from greys to black.

The furnishings echo the same language, accentuating the effect of sophisticated elegance. An unmistakable imprint, applied to the structures and the tiniest construction details, supported by the craftsmanship of the Sanremo shipyard.

To create a continuous space on the main deck, the pilotage area is located on the fly deck. This solution had already been applied in the previous 120s, whose stern with the stern deck has also been taken up.

A detail that also distinguishes this Amer 120 is its propulsion. The Amer 120s are in fact the only superyachts powered by four Volvo Penta IPS D13 – IPS 1350s.
