What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
Modern and elegant, the new Antares 9 that Beneteau is premiering at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, incorporates the innovations and improvements of the larger models and offers easier on-board manoeuvring, mooring and navigation.
Designed by Sarrazin Design, the 8.23-metre by 2.99-metre-long Antares 9 has sleek, dynamic lines and boasts an elegant silhouette, enhanced by silver rubbing strake and long hull windows.
The cockpit is protected by a long canopy and the addition of an extra seat allows the L-shaped settee to be converted into a U-shaped sofa. This modular space can easily be transformed into a large sunbathing area.
On the inside, large windows make the saloon (which can be converted into a two-berth sleeping area) very bright. The kitchen is equipped with an 80-litre refrigerator, two hotplates or electric cooker. A microwave oven is also optional.
There are two cabins: the master cabin with a double bed in the bow and a twin cabin. The maximum engine power for the Antares 9 is two 250 hp FBs.
