What’s New at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show
Launched as recently as 6th August this year, Azimut’s Grande 30M is making her debut at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show. The Grande 30M (28.80 metres long by 7.30 metres wide) bears the signature of Alberto Mancini for the exterior lines and of the m2atelier architecture studio for the interiors.
As well as marking the first collaboration between the two designers, the new Grande 30M, which joins the other seven models in the Grande range, also marks the introduction of the Barefoot Luxury concept, as developed by m2atelier for Azimut: an approach that interprets the vision of a new generation of owners, devoted to an entirely informal lifestyle on board.
Alongside this stylistic innovation and this new philosophy of use, the Grande 30M introduces a number of key technological innovations. Azimut’s Grande 30M is in fact part of the Azimut Low Emission Yacht family and the first yacht to integrate the Rolls-Royce’s MTU propulsion system.
This new system, which combines two 1800 hp MTUs and PODs, allows for greater efficiency, with a 15% increase over shaftline propulsion systems, and therefore a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The maximum speed of Azimut’s new Grande 30M is over 25 knots.
