New agreement signed by CMC Marine and Navico

news

CMC Marine has announced a new agreement with Navico, the group that controls the Simrad, Lowrance and B&G brands. The agreement follows on from the partnerships signed by CMC Marine with Furuno, Raymarine and Garmin.

“CMC Marine’s goal is to improve the experience and safety on board yachts and superyachts, while making our products increasingly intuitive and integrated with on-board systems,” explained Pietro Cappiello, Vice President of CMC Marine. “This agreement with Navico is designed for integration with its MFDs and is a key part of our vision, offering customers, crews and owners even greater efficiency, in the spirit of continuous innovation at the service of yachting.”

Thanks to the DALI (Display, Assistance, Logging Interface) interface, the stabilisation and control systems developed by CMC Marine can now communicate directly with the multifunction displays (MFDs) of the Navico ranges.

This integration allows, for example, real-time monitoring and management of fin movements and performance, setting operating modes and parameters, as well as displaying detailed information and alarm signals that are immediately intuitive.
