The fourth Mangusta GranSport 54 and the tenth Mangusta 104 REV are two yachts launched just a few days apart by the Overmarine Group’s shipyards, confirming the Mangusta brand’s dynamic operational pace and a sustained level of demand from international markets.
The launch of the fourth Mangusta GranSport 54 (pictured), the result of the collaboration between the shipyard’s engineering department, engineer Ausonio and Alberto Mancini, took place in Pisa on 17 March. The flagship model of the brand’s faster displacement range, the Mangusta GranSport 54 combines range and performance, thanks to four 2,600 hp Rolls-Royce MTU engines coupled with shaft drives. The maximum speed is 29 knots while the model’s range reaches 4,200 miles at a steady 12 knots.
Thanks to the large glass surfaces, the interiors are designed to create a direct connection with the outdoor environment and, like all Mangusta yachts, this GranSport 54 has also been developed with a high degree of customisation.
On 20 March, this time in Viareggio, the second launch took place, that of the tenth Mangusta 104 REV. As the entry-level model in the Maxi Open range and developed by the shipyard’s technical department in close collaboration with Lobanov Design for the exterior styling, this Mangusta 104 REV features interiors developed by the Overmarine design team alongside architect Francesco Bortolato of Nembo Design.
Powered by two 2,600 hp Rolls-Royce MTU engines paired with Kongsberg-Kamewa waterjets, the Mangusta 104 REV, which stands out for her sporty silhouette and extensive application of glazing, reaches a maximum speed of 35 knots.
