Olympic Marine was founded in Lavrio, under the initial name of Olympic Yachts, as the Greek shipbuilder of reference for sailboats and other vessels in reinforced composite. By the mid-70s, the yard had already achieved important milestones, carrying out successful projects across its wide offering. Modern buildings of 8,000 m² were built to facilitate construction, accompanied by corresponding updates to the machinery and production methodology. The yard’s range earned a reputation among the Greek and the international markets. Models including the Olympic 33, the Olympic 47, the Carter range and many more are still considered to be the best of their kind.Fishing boats, hundreds of lifeboats, and even patrol boats for the Greek Coast Guard were built. A repair unit was established, with technology never before accessible in Greece.
