Elios S.r.l. is an innovative start-up and a research spin-off with the goal of bringing innovation to the boating industry by making vessels completely green. Specifically, its main objectives are:

Elimination of fossil fuels;

Efficiency;

Reduction of noise pollution.

Thanks to the public notice "PreSEED", approved by Resolution No. G03793 on March 27, 2017, the company is developing a prototype of a boat powered by electricity and hydrogen. The prototype is a former diesel-powered vessel that has been adapted to accommodate electric and hydrogen propulsion, using the sun as an additional energy source. This technology can be applied to any existing or newly built vessel.

We expect to be ready for production in the second half of 2025, after which we plan to participate in international trade fairs to expand globally.
