GENOA CRICKET AND FOOTBALL CLUB

Genoa Cricket and Football Club is the oldest football club in Italy, founded on September 7, 1893, at the British Consulate in Genoa. It is the only football-oriented club still active among the seven that, in 1898, established the Italian Football Federation (later F.I.G.C.). The club ranks fourth in the history of National Championship winners (with 9 titles) and boasts a long series of records and firsts.
