IHI Corporation or IHI Group (abbreviation of Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.) is a Japanese multinational industrial company, among the largest in the world, founded in 1853[1] and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The name IHI has often been associated with the automotive field; in fact, among its most famous creations are the turbochargers used for supercharging internal combustion engines, produced in Italy in Cernusco Lombardone (LC), and in Germany in Ichtershausen by IHI Charging Systems International.
