PWR-Foil

PWR-Foil was born in 2016, thanks to the bold vision of Chris Defrance, founder of Redwoodpaddle. After years of riding waves and creating innovative stand-up paddles and surfboards, Chris felt the need for something bigger, a way to actually fly over the water. Enter the world of hydrofoils: in 2016, these underwater wings allowed surfers to lift off the surface, gliding effortlessly. But Chris wanted to go even further,he dreamed of an electric foil.
By 2018, that dream became a reality when PWR-Foil unveiled its first electric foil (eFoil) prototype at the Nautic Paris show. The excitement was real, and by 2019, they were taking orders.Entirely designed and assembled in France, PWR-Foil is all about pushing boundaries: innovation, local craftsmanship, and total user safety.
Flying on an eFoil is like nothing else, a thrilling blend of speed and freedom. With silent rides that can reach up more than 60 km/h and last for 90 minutes, it’s not just water sports anymore.
